Soon to be Out of contract Arsenal star declares he wants to remain at the Emirates beyond summer

Petr Cech has admitted he would like to stay at Arsenal this summer, despite the fact his contract expires at the end of the season and they haven’t negotiated an extension.

Cech, now 36, has spent most of the season acting as a backup to Bernd Leno, ever since an injury forced the Arsenal number 1 out of the team back in September.

As a result, there’s been some speculation that he might leave the club at the end of the campaign, with his contract set to expire.

The player himself insists that he wants to stay though.
