The police has arrested two persons who allegedly killed a two-wheeler rider by running over him with the car after a failed attempt to kidnap a young Perumbavoor native along with his car, at Panampilly Nagar. The victim, identified as Thomas, 51, of Kumbalanghi, succumbed to his injuries at a city hospital. The accused Ben, 32, and Banny, 32, both from Chullikkal in Fort Kochi, who had sped away from the scene, were picked up by a South Police team when they emerged from their hideout at Chullikkal.
