Netflix confirms Sex Education season 2 has begun filming with naughty tweet
NETFLIX has confirmed Sex Education season two has begun filming with a naughty tweet.
The hit series follows awkward teen Otis, who attempts to navigate his way through high school by starting an underground sex therapy clinic for his classmates.
It first aired on the streaming service in January, with a second series confirmed a month later.
Today, a video was shared on the official Netflix Twitter account which showed the cast – including Gillian Anderson sitting down for a table read of the second season.
The clip was accompanied by a typically naughty tweet which read: “Ok it’s official, Sex Education s2 filming has started.
“Here’s to more w***ing and more heartwarming moments in equal measure.”
Fans immediately replied with their excitement, with many asking how long they will have to wait until Otis and his pals are back on their screens.
The Netflix account replied: “i mean s1 was only like 3ish months back so these things take time.”
Another tweeted: “Well, I have never seen a large corporate company using words like W@@@@@g, are you sure this should have gone out?”
To which the official account replied simply: “Yes.”
