AirAsia India to shift operations to T1 in Mumbai from Oct 15

Budget carrier AirAsia announced on Monday relocation of its operations to domestic terminal (T1) of the city's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport from October 15. At present, the Bengaluru-based airline, which has limited operations from the city, flies from the international terminal (T2) of the Mumbai airport. HC directs TN govt to file status report on dengue by Oct 15

The Madras High Court on Monday directed the Tamil Nadu government to file a status report by October 15 on the steps taken to contain spread of dengue in the State. A division bench of Justices M Sathyanarayanan and N Seshasayee also wanted a report on the measures taken to provide emergency medical attention to dengue affected patients. The central government is likely to provide relief to the owners of fitness centres by making amendments in the master plan for Delhi 2021. The Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee had recently ordered sealing of all fitness centres which have come up in the national capital after August 12, 2008. Chinese Oil Giant Significantly Boosts Shale Reserves

State energy giant PetroChina has announced new additions of almost 741 billion cubic meters to its shale gas reserves in the Sichuan province as well as certified reserves of 358 million tons at the Qingcheng oil field. The company said in a stock exchange filing cited by Reuters that it had made a breakthrough in shale oil and gas exploration, which had led to the upgrade in reserves.
