The Arena Bowl MVP was a QB named Tom Grady and everyone had jokes
The Albany Empire defeated the Philadelphia Soul in the Arena Football League’s ArenaBowl 32, bringing a championship to New York’s capital for the first time since 1999.
The MVP of the title game? That would be quarterback Tom Grady, thanks to five touchdowns.
Nope, that’s not a typo. And, if we’re being honest here, Grady goes by “Tommy,” not Tom like that New England Patriots QB, which is really too bad when you think about it.
Nonetheless, when people who aren’t AFL fans found out that there’s a quarterback named Tom(my) Grady who won a championship-game MVP, there were so many jokes:
