Con: Kalama methanol plant has no place in Washington’s clean-energy future

Proponents of the world’s largest gas-to-methanol refinery on the Columbia River told investors the project will provide methanol for fuel while simultaneously asking Washington regulators to believe that the methanol will never be burned.
