Mum transforms her daughter’s small bedroom into a stylish space for just £34
A mother has stunned other parents after revealing she transformed her daughter’s bedroom for just £34.
Tanya Miles took to Facebook group DIY On A Budget to share some snaps of the new room, which now looks super stylish.
Alongside the various pictures, Tanya wrote: “My daughter wanted a bedroom transformation. I only spent £26 on 10L of white paint and a small pot of black.
“Box frames were £5 from B&M (set of 2) and storage baskets in desk £3 each From Home Bargains.
“Everything else I upcycled or freshened up. We will add new bedding and rug over the next few weeks.”
Tanya added: “It was a spontaneous revamp so didn’t get any other before pictures unfortunately. The other 3 walls were pink grey and green.”
Tanya has even managed to make the small room look more spacious thanks to white paint on the walls and matching furniture.
Giving the room a personal touch, her daughter added some black and white photos on the wall as well as a beautiful dreamcatcher and sign which reads: “Do what makes your soul shine.”
Tayna also painted black spots on one wall by hand to give it an added quirky touch.
Fellow Facebook users were quick to comment on the post, with one person writing: “Wow that looks fab! .”
A second person said: “Looks lovely, great job,” while another added: “It looks super cute.”
The simple revamp comes after another mother revealed she transformed her three-year-old daughter’s bedroom for just £1.
