Real Housewives Of Dallas: The 10 Most Dramatic Storylines, Ranked

0

The ladies who star on The Real Housewives of Dallas are known for many things. They love a good rodeo, will throw themselves into charity work, indulge in a cocktail or two (or ten), and tend to speak before they think. More than once, have fans seen these beauties give one another a verbal lashing. The hard word slinging has often led to some serious feuds between ladies and their families. These feuds ake for some outstanding storylines!

In Texas, the drama is always at an all-time high, and ladies like Brandi, LeeAnne, and D'Andra never shy away from the taboo. There are almost too many good storylines to choose from in the Dallas installment, but if fans had to narrow down their all-time favorite, most dramatic moments, these ten ranks best.

10 Stephanie And Kam's Friendship Fallout

Flawless Kameron Wescott and Stephanie Hollman have played nice for seasons. The blonde mommies have always seemed to enjoy one another, even though their friendship wasn't as tight as that of Brandi and Stephanie.

In the most recent season of the Housewives installment, we learned that Kam thought this friendship was far less meaningful to Stephanie Hollman. In a meal out, Stephanie referred to their relationship as "surface." As one might expect, Kam didn't take the revelation very well, and big drama ensued.

9  Stephanie's Mental Health Struggle

It takes a lot of courage to share personal stories on television for millions of people to hear and judge. Mom of two, Stephanie, often appears fun and bubbly, but she decided to let viewers in on the darker side of her life.

Stephanie has had struggles with her mental health over the years, and she revealed some very serious incidents that she had endured and overcome over her years. It was a brave and very dramatic move to reveal her mental health roadblocks and her path to better health.

8 Rich's Wandering Eye

LeeAnne feels as if she struck it rich in the love department with her new husband, Rich. She spent years trying to get him to put a ring on it, and he finally made an honest woman out of her! While the two are now hitched, their relationship and surrounding speculation was a popular plotline for several seasons.

D'Andra insinuated that Rich had been unfaithful, and then on their wedding day, Rich sunk his own battleship with insensitive comments. As he gazed around the wedding venue, he decided to make the statement that he had never seen so many hot women in a single space. LeeAnne didn't seem bothered, but plenty of others were.

7 D'Andra's Toxic Relationship With Her Mother

Fans might find themselves feeling slightly (or very) uncomfortable when watching a middle-aged D'Andra Simmons interact with her mother. D'Andra's mommy is a force to be reckoned with. She takes no prisoners in business nor in her personal life, and her maternal instincts are subpar at best.

There are plenty of dramatic moments between these southern belles to choose from. Still, the most dramatic storylines are the ones that included the elder danging the family business in front of her child, like a carrot. D'Andra spends most of her life begging her mother for things and then suffering her criticism.

6 LeeAnne Locks Down Love

The housewives in Dallas are independent women when it comes to their charities, their fashion sense, and their friendships. They are not independent in their marital status, though. For several seasons all women were wedded except for emotionally damaged LeeAnne. LeeAnne was never single, per se, but she wasn't married.

LeeAnne's desire to lock down Rich was a main storyline in many seasons. Locken finally got her dream wedding day, and the event was filled with emotion, glitz, and plenty of drama. We would expect nothing less from Ms. LeeAnne Locken.

5 Brandi's Big Reveal

Brandi is a blast to watch. The loose-tongued, red-headed firecracker is one of those characters that always dominates a scene, and you never know what is going to tumble out of her mouth. She loves life, loves her family, and loves to unwind with some adult beverages. Basically, Brandi is reality television gold.

For several seasons we saw Brandi and her husband go through the trials and tribulations of parenting two little girls. In a touching storyline, the pair end up adopting a son! They grandly reveal their new family member, and even Brandi's frenemies can't help but be happy for her. Brandi must love life as a mommy because the reality star is now expecting her fourth child!

4 LeeAnne's Sad Childhood

Perhaps one of the most dramatic and overplayed storylines in the entire Dallas installment is that of LeeAnne's childhood. Every time she can, she makes mention that she grew up on the wrong side of the carnival railroad tracks. LeeAnne uses her sad childhood (and it is sad) to justify nearly all of her bad behavior.

The storyline comes to a culmination when we meet LeeAnee's mother at LeeAnne and Rich's big wedding.

3 Accusations Against D'Andra

So, we have established the fact that when it comes to pot stirrers and smack-talking, LeeAnne Locken is Queen. She seems to have the tea on everybody in Dallas and isn't afraid to share what she knows or thinks that she knows. LeeAnne doesn't always stick to facts, and sometimes she passes judgment based on whatever is rolling around in her mind. Case and point: when she made claims that D'Andra had a problem with the bottle.

D'Andra, LeeAnne's former friend, was beyond hurt by such tales, and LeeAnne's words caused a rift between the two wider than The Grand Canyon.

2 LeeAnne's Distasteful Comments

Look. Fans are pretty accustomed to hearing wild words and theories fall from LeeAnne's mouth. She is the Queen of Crass, and no one is safe from her unique and often hurtful thoughts and musings. LeeAnne always has an enemy or target, and this last season that person was newcomer Kary Brittingham.

Kary was the only housewife to come from somewhere other than the states and was not one to bend to the ladies in her new circle. LeeAnne, who has issues with sharing the head honcho spot, didn't take to Kary and called her names that might have come across as derogative. Apologies did end up taking place, but it seemed too little, too late.

1 LeeAnne Locken's Accusations Of Marc

The housewives are known for throwing out zings left and right, stirring up drama with their thoughts and accusations. LeeAnne Locken of The Real Housewives of Dallas has one of the sharpest tongues in the business, often speaking her thoughts regardless of whom they end up impacting.

In 2017, Locken made outrageous claims about her costar Cary's husband. Rightfully so, Cary and her husband Marc were furious over LeeAnne's verbal slander. Locken went even further in her feud with Cary and company when she supposedly threatened her costar behind closed doors. Heading into season five, it looks like someone else will have to wear the pot-stirring crown, as LeeAnne is bowing out of filming.
