49ers won’t return to Levi’s Stadium this season after coronavirus ban extended

The 49ers, who left the Bay Area on Dec. 2, will officially spend at least a month in their temporary home in Glendale, Ariz. The 49ers will not play their regular-season finale against the Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium on Jan. 3 because Santa Clara County has extended the coronavirus-related ban on contact sports.
