How I Met Your Mother: Which Ted Or Barney's Girlfriend Are You, Based On Your Zodiac Sign?
Even though How I Met Your Mother focused on Ted's journey to find his wife and mother of his children, the show introduced a great many couples. Ted's most important relationship in the show, besides his wife Tracy, was with his good friend Robin, but the list of the show's romances doesn't end there. Ted has dated multiple girls throughout the show, some more sympathetic, others less.
And he wasn't the only one. Barney also had his fair share of girlfriends, all of them with different characters. As a result, each of the girlfriends who played a role in the show would have a different Zodiac sign.
12 Aries: Victoria
Victoria continues to be one of Ted's most popular girlfriends - and she also could have been the titular "mother", had the show ended after its first season due to low ratings or other reasons. However, that didn't happen and Ted and Victoria called it quits in the end.
Victoria was creative and sweet, determined to chase her dreams which caused the break-up since she went to Germany and the long-distance relationship didn't work. Arieses are courageous, determined, honest, and passionate people, they put a lot of effort into every aspect of their lives. Victoria was doing her best to coincide both her work life and her personal life, but it didn't work out.
11 Taurus: Wendy The Waitress
Barney has had many girlfriends but one of them worked in the gang's favorite bar, the MacLaren's - Wendy the Waitress. When Barney broke up with Wendy, he became paranoid and thought she was out to get revenge.
Wendy, however, took the break up in stride, remained gracious and kind. Tauruses don't tend to make a big deal of things, they're composed and stable people who take life's problems with stride, break-ups included.
10 Gemini: Stella
Stella is the one girlfriend Ted almost married - but she changed her mind in the end and left him at the altar. Stella was a smart and funny person but she also had a lot on her mind, a lot of things going on in her life, and she wasn't quite sure how she wanted the relationship with Ted to go.
Geminis are affectionate people who quickly learn new things but they can also be inconsistent and indecisive, just like Stella was in the relationship area.
9 Cancer: Nora
Nora was one of the best girlfriends Barney had. She made it clear she didn't like the way Barney was sometimes playing with people, but she was also willing to listen to his side of things, hear him out.
She was smart and open to trying out new things. Cancers are sympathetic, intelligent individuals who have tenacity in their nature. They don't like to give up on people, as long as they can help it. They make good friends and are open to new experiences, just like Nora was.
8 Leo: Robin
Robin dated both Ted and Barney but she and Ted ended up together in the finale - a move many fans of the show weren't so happy about. Either way, Robin's character formed a contrast to Ted's.
Robin was a lively, charismatic, and passionate person, all typical traits of Leos. She had a strong sense of humor and liked trying out new things. Leos hate being bored but they can struggle with maintaining long-term relationships.
7 Virgo: Naomi
Naomi could have been a perfect girl for Ted - sadly, when they gave their relationship a try, they soon discovered there was no real chemistry between them. Other than that, Naomi seemed like a good person.
She treated Ted with kindness and was open about her feelings (or lack thereof). Virgos take other people's emotions into consideration, they don't like to stamp on others. However, when something's not working, they're practical enough to realize it and move on.
6 Libra: Cindy
Cindy and Ted didn't work out because most of the things Ted liked about her were actually connected to her flatmate - who would later become the mother. However, Cindy wasn't a bad person either. Libras are gracious and open-minded people who pursue their goals.
Cindy eventually realized what she wanted in life and she found the perfect woman for her. Plus, she was able to remain on friendly terms with Ted even after their break-up, once again proving she was a gracious person.
5 Scorpio: Karina
Besides Wendy the Waitress, Barney briefly dated MacLaren's bartender Karina. In order to achieve that, though, he had to give up wearing his suits briefly since Karina hated all men who wore suits because of her former Wall Street boyfriend.
Karina felt very passionately about the matter. Scorpios are passionate and stubborn people by nature, and when they believe in something, it's near impossible to change their minds.
4 Sagittarius: Quinn
Quinn and Barney had a lot of things in common. Quinn had a wicked sense of humor and liked to play pranks on people, just like Barney. Sagittariuses are people with a strong sense of humor.
They tend to be honest and don't mince her words. Quinn was very open about the fact she liked her job as a stripper and wouldn't give it up.
3 Capricorn: Natalie
Ted has dated many girls but he didn't always treat them right. Case in point - Natalie, with whom Ted broke up on her birthday, not once, but twice. Natalie didn't deserve such treatment since she was a funny person and had her priorities set straight which is typical for Capricorns.
People born in this Zodiac sign mostly keep their calm but when somebody pushes them too far, their self-control vanishes. Ted did push Natalie too far, and as a result, Natalie used her knowledge of Krav Maga against him.
2 Aquarius: Zoey
Ted and Zoey's relationship followed the popular pattern from enemies-to-lovers - but it wasn't meant to be, and Zoey already had a lot of things going on in her life. Aquariuses are independent and progressive people who differ from the rest of society. They can be temperamental and impulsive.
Zoey was willing to dip her toe into criminal activities, and she seemed to enjoy it much more than she should. Even though she had good intentions, she sometimes made mistakes simply because she saw the world and life in a different way.
1 Pisces: Tracy
Whether Tracy was the best partner for Ted, or whether this position goes to Robin, that's something fans still like to argue about. But the fact is that Tracy is the mother of Ted's children and remained his wife until the day she died.
Pisces are gentle, wise, and artistic people. Tracy had a strong artistic streak, as she was the bass player and lead singer in a band. She was kind to others and even helped Ted's friends out long before they knew who she was.
