Election Commission submits its annual report to President

KATHMANDU: The Election Commission today submitted its annual report (2019-20) to President Bidhya Devi Bhandari amid a function organised in Sheetal Niwas.

Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Thapaliya, accompanied by EC commissioners, had handed over the annual report to the head of the state in accordance with Article 294 of the constitution.

On the occasion, election commissioners Narendra Dahal, Ishwori Prasad Paudyal and the EC Secretary Dev Kumari Guragain among other high ranking officials were also present.
