90 Day Fiancé: Yara Shocks Fans By Revealing Her Struggles With COVID-19

0

Popular 90 Day Fiancé star Yara Zaya recently revealed that she was COVID-19 positive shortly after husband Jovi Dufren left for his ROV Supervisor job in Guyana. Season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? focuses on Yara and Jovi dealing with new parents to baby daughter Mylah. With Jovi gone for work four months after their wedding, the New Orleans man left again, leaving Yara with his mother Gwen in Louisiana. However, Yara couldn’t stay with Gwen for long and went back to Nola where she, unfortunately, got COVID, amidst nursing Mylah.

Watching Yara on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has let fans believe that she’s sad and lonely. Yara hasn’t been able to travel to Ukraine, and she doesn't have any friends in the U.S. The young mother couldn’t bear with Jovi going, and with a hurricane approaching, Yara had no option but to go stay with Gwen and Monty. However, within two days, Yara started feeling uncomfortable with having to use their shower which is in the hall in her towels, lest any “weird situation” happened. Gwen insisted Yara stay back so she could get help to look after Mylah if she cried or got sick.

But Yara, stubborn in her own right, got 90 Day Fiancé star Jovi’s mother to drive her back to New Orleans. Ukrainian Yara spoke of being independent since she was 17 and mocked Jovi for being a mama’s boy. However, in a different scene, Yara spoke about having a terrible headache and body pain as she prayed, “I really don’t wish nobody to have COVID.” The 26-year-old told the cameras that when she was in Nola, she suddenly got sick and started to run a fever and throat ache. “I was having like terrible terrible headache like somebody was hitting me in the side of my head,” the 90 Day Fiancé fan favorite said.

With dizziness added to the list of symptoms, Yara took the test which turned out to be positive. However, the most terrible thing for the 90 Day Fiancé celeb was her taking care of Mylah alone while always being dizzy. While Yara had to always hold the baby, it was even a big deal for her to move from the sofa to the changing table to change Mylah’s diaper. Holding the baby when she felt like she couldn’t even walk was scary for Yara, who added, “I was can’t even go to get me some food, I was can’t do that.” Because of her fever, Yara’s breastmilk also started to go away, leaving her scared if she’d ever be able to feed the baby, along with having COVID-19.

Yara had no option but to call Gwen, and she was careful to stay in a different room when Jovi’s mom was there. Yara is very thankful for Gwen to have helped her with Mylah but called it her bad luck that she had left her MIL’s house just a month ago. To deduce how she got COVID, Yara spoke of some people in New Orleans walking around maskless. However, Yara worried about passing on the virus to the baby who miraculously showed no symptoms. The 90 Day Fiancé star was advised by a pediatrician to breastfeed, as according to them if one feeds while having “sickness,” it's even better because the baby “can never catch it because you give them ‘anti’ something.”
