London Broncos • RFL in the slow lane

Way back in June, the RFL said they would update Toulouse home fixture info once HMG had reviewed travel restrictions. At time of writing, nothing on RFL site nor Halifax (due Sat 14th) or Batley. Doubt Batley would be happy if Halifax don't have to go but they do. Both likely to lose if they play & York might not be pleased if they have to go when Oldham didn't.

If RFL claim lack of vaccinations means the remaining teams don't go or find some other excuse, we should demand our points back. Won't make a lot of difference to us, its the principle.

Interestingly on the Batley site, while talking about their efforts to play Fev, they mention whispers of clubs notifying close covid contacts to get games called off. If I was a betting man, I reckon a few SL teams have done that given the unusually high number of cancelled games. Maybe awarding points to the non covid affected teams in cancelled games like Union did might have been a better idea making clubs more responsible.
