Strictly’s Karen awkwardly confronted after her mic revealed she PUNCHED partner Greg Wise as fans spot ‘secret feud’
STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Karen Hauer was awkwardly confronted for PUNCHING her celebrity partner Greg Wise – just days after fans claimed they’d spotted a “secret feud”.
The microphones caught the 55-year-old actor yelping as the pair were told that they’d been voted through to next week in tonight’s results show.
As they spoke to Claudia Winkleman afterwards, the host couldn’t resist asking what exactly had happened.
She said: “Karen, you were so happy – my favourite thing is we heard on your mic that you punched him and all we heard was Greg go: ‘Ow!'”
Greg, who dressed as James Bond for last night’s movie-themed dance, chuckled: “Bond does go ‘ow’ quite a lot…”
Karen looked sheepish as she giggled and said: “I’m sorry I punched you so hard! I really am.”
She added to Claudia: “I got my earring stuck on his shirt as well.”
Earlier this week, viewers claimed they’d spotted a “secret feud” after Greg and Karen sat “miles apart” on the show’s sister programme It Takes Two.

Those watching at home were distracted by the seating arrangements – with both stars sat on opposite ends of the sofa.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “#Strictly @karen_hauer and Greg on #ItTakesTwo very negative body language. She doesn’t like him….”
Another asked: “Can Greg and Karen sit any further apart?? No other coupes sit miles apart. This is a very strange relationship.”

A third compared them to their competition, tweeting: “The difference in body language between Greg/Karen and Rhys/Nancy is STARK”.
However, Karen spoke fondly of her celebrity partner on the show, saying that she “trusted” him completely with their daring lifts at the weekend, and it felt “so calm and beautiful” to dance with him.
And in last night’s show, Karen was seen getting the seal of approval from Greg’s actress wife Emma Thompson as she joined them in rehearsals.
