Kraken knock off Panthers for third win in four games

Mason Appleton had a goal and an assist as the Seattle Kraken defeated the visiting Florida Panthers 5-3 Sunday night.

Marcus Johansson, Yanni Gourde, Colin Blackwell and Calle Jarnkrok also scored for Seattle, and goalie Philipp Grubauer made 28 saves.

It was the Kraken's third victory in their past four games and their second over Florida this season, the first a 4-1 decision on Nov. 27 in in Sunrise, Fla.
