Which Fire-Type Pokemon Are You, Based On Zodiac Sign?
Since players booted up the original Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue games, fire-type Pokemon like Charmander and Growlith have gained fans from around the world. Now made up of 84 entries, it has remained one of the first Pokemon types introduced to new generations of fans and represents some of the toughest to catch in each game.
With all of these firey creatures, there are plenty of personalities and designs that will catch anyone's attention. And much like people, they share common traits among the twelve zodiac signs that may or may not surprise gamers and fans of the series.
Aries are competitive and courageous people (or Pokémon, in this case) and never back down from a challenge. Furthermore, they are also driven to succeed and ambitious to reach their goal, no matter how big or small it may be.
Charizard seems to be built for this description. In the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Pokédex entry, it states that "it flies around the sky in search of powerful opponents." A Pokémon this competitive and driven is definitely an Aries for sure.
Taurus is much more relaxed compared to other personality traits on this list. They are determined to do things their way while also enjoying a relaxing and patient lifestyle.
Not many fire-type Pokémon can fit this description, but Oricorio certainly seems to. Residing in the Hawain-inspired Alola region, they enjoy dancing to their own passionate beat. The Baile Style Oricorio in particular will even get angry at their trainer for the wrong order, according to its Pokédex entry.
Geminis are very curious, always willing to explore new things and open their horizons. They are also playful and youthful too, making them versatile while also prone to immaturity.
Introduced in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, one of its Pokédex entries in the games describes Litleo as "filled with curiosity." Other entries also state that once they are strong enough to hunt on their own, they leave their pride, and with their curiosity, they explore and look for new opportunities.
Cancers are known to have hard exteriors, much like the star sign it's based on, the crab. They are loyal and protective over what or who they love, even potentially becoming vengeful too.
The evolved form of Litleo, Pyroars fit this bill perfectly. From its Pokdédex entries, the males will "protect its friends with no regard for its own safety" while the females will "protect the pride's cubs." Despite their intimidating exterior, they surely have a soft spot for those they are loyal to.
Compassionate and with a consciousness for others, Leos can be loyal to others and are self-assured too. Their drive to help others make them popular, making them natural-born leaders.
The fiery monkey Pansear is helpful and uses its initiative to aid others whenever possible. In Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2, their Pokédex entry states they "like to help people." Even in the Pokémon Black & White anime series, it was loyal to its master, the gym leader Chili.
Virgos are hard workers, maintaining a high standard in their approach to life while also being modest too. They are perfectionists and are consistent in themselves to improve their abilities and skills.
One of the first fire-type Pokémon introduced back on the Game Boy, Arcanine has also been ranked as one of the strongest fire-type Pokémon to date. It's hard to pick an entry from the different generations of the Pokédex, but each one tells the player about how its speed and strength captivated anyone who saw it. A fine example of a Virgo indeed.
Justice is what Libras strive for. Their focus is to bring balance and harmony to those around them and this makes them caring and compassionate individuals.
With the introduction of Hisuain variants in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, fans got to see new versions of their favorite pocket monsters. Among them, Hisuian Typhlosion is probably the closest to being Libra. As stated in its entry, they "purify lost, forsaken souls with its flames and guides them to the afterlife." Its compassion for those that have passed and giving them peace makes it a harmonious Pokémon and one of the best Hisuian forms.
One of the more mysterious zodiac signs, Scorpios are known to be secretive and can be strategic to reach their goals. They are also emotional, which can make them have bold personalities too.
A lot of the ghost-type Pokémon have mysterious facts, but the dual fire and ghost-type Lampent certainly has an odd entry in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. It will pretend to be a street lamp within cities and will follow those close to death. Both deceptive and strategic, they are also one of the boldest in nature to achieve their goal and take a person's soul.
The adventurous Sagittarius is always on the lookout for knowledge and achievement. But they can also be caring for others too, making them an ideal friend and partner.
Whether it's in the games or the anime, Cinderace is able to demonstrate these personality traits. The Striker Pokémon is a fast and strong monster to have in your team. But in the Pokémon Journeys anime, Goh's Cinderace's debut was able to show off its passion for its achievement to take down a Milotic and embrace the winning moment with its trainer.
Capricorns are persistent and dedicated. These attributes result in hardworking individuals who know how to explore the world around them in their own way.
Introduced in Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver and one of the strongest Johto legendary Pokémon, Entei does things its own way and remains persistent about doing it. According to one of its data entries in the DS remakes of these titles, "Volcanoes erupt when it barks. Unable to contain its sheer power, it races headlong around the land."
Despite the name sounding like it might be a water sign, Aquarius is actually in the air category. They are calm and exceptional beings and care about the world around them.
Ho-Oh seems to be fitting as an Aquarius. One of the best dual-type flying Pokémon, it brings happiness to anyone who is able to see it and will reveal itself to a pure-hearted trainer. These facts sourced from the multiple 3DS games show this to be a legend unlike any other.
The last star sign of the Zodiac, Pisces are emotionally aware of others and are determined to bring happiness to them. They are also creative as well and this last Pokémon can surely demonstrate these key features.
If fans were lucky enough to get Pokémon Black and Pokémon White early, they could get Victini via Mystery Gift. Known as the Victory Pokémon, its ability can raise the team's accuracy by ten percent. What's more, its Pokédex entry states that "trainers with Victini always win, regardless of the type of encounter." Bringing happiness to its trainer in this creative way not also made it a good member of your team, but it also makes it a great example of a Pisces.
