TEMPLEGATE takes dead aim at the Dublin Racing Festival on Sunday.
The key meeting before next month’s Cheltenham Festival looks set to be an absolute cracker.

GALOPIN DES CHAMPS won the Martin Pipe over hurdles at the Cheltenham Festival before following up in Grade 1 class at Punchestown in great style.
Things couldn’t have gone better on his chase debut here at Christmas as he went from the front and hardly touched a twig in scoring by 22 lengths.
He didn’t have a lot to beat there and we’ll see his true colours today but there should be more to come.

CHACUN POUR SOI can win this race for the third year on the trot. For the second time, he didn’t travel well to England last time when running an absolute stinker in the Tingle Creek at Sandown.
He’s much better judged on his five-length success in the Punchestown Champion Chase after his Cheltenham Festival third when odds-on for the Queen Mother.

FAKIR D’ALENE looks the potential improver in the field as he’s taken really well to chasing.
He started with a solid third at Cork before winning by an impressive 32 lengths at Down Royal at Christmas.
He proved that was no fluke with a Thurles success 14 days ago. He jumps well and can go close for Gordon Elliott.

HONEYSUCKLE is different class to these decent rivals and can land an incredible tenth Grade 1 success.
She has yet to taste defeat in her glittering career and looked as good as ever when scooting in by eight lengths at Fairyhouse in November.
She is bidding for her third success in this race and only a mishap can stop her.

SIR GERHARD looks too hot for these rivals. The Champion Bumper winner made a brilliant start to his hurdling career when sauntering to victory here at Christmas.
His jumping was decent and should be better for that outing.
Willie Mullins already has a big player for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle in Dysart Dynamo but this seven-year-old looks tailor made for that race too and can show it here.
