Vipers Game Day! – Vipers Conclude Season Set With Bucks
Vernon, BC: The Vernon Vipers look to continue the climb up the Interior Conference standings as they host the Cranbrook Bucks for the final time this season.
The Vipers (17-14-4-3) come into the game following a fantastic 3-2 win over the Bucks last night. Talon Zakall, Matt Culling and JoJo Tanaka-Campbell scored goals and Roan Clarke stopped 32 shots in relief to earn the win. The Vipers powerplay was 3 for 6 on the night. The Vipers PK had a busy night but were able to kill off two major penalties with minimal damage. With the win the Vipers improved to 10-7-1 on home ice.
The Bucks (19-16-2-2) dropped a 3-2 decision against the Vipers. Noah Quinn and Liam Hansson had goals while Nathan Airey stopped 32 of 35. The Bucks were 1 for 5 on the powerplay. With the loss, the Bucks dropped to 9-10-1 away from home.
The Vipers are now 3-1 against Cranbrook and have a slim lead for 5th spot in the conference.
This is the 5th and final meeting of the season.
