[Football] Twenty-eight Bees named to MSFA All-Academic Team
Twenty-eight members of the St. Ambrose football team were named to the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) All-Academic Team. They were part of a record 344 total student-athletes on the team. The previous record of 292 was set last season.
To be eligible, student-athletes must have maintained a 3.25 GPA and reached sophomore academic status.
The Bees named to the team were: Drew Ackman, John Benckendorf, Anthony Brown, Tom Casey, Antwan Catchings, Michael Charnot, Payton Clauson, Aaron Deter, Max Gourley, Connor Grabins, Jackson Hunsicker, Sam Kerr, Alex Knoebel, Keegan Kohorst, Willy Lopez, Brody Mason, Ethan Miebach, Tyreece Morgan, D.J. Mumaw, Trent Nunn, Caleb Osborn, Esteban Quintero, Rian Schmidt, Jett Schmitt, Hunter Thompson, DeViann Titus-Porter, Jordan Williams and Blake Wittman.
Kohorst was one of just 14 players in the conference with a 4.0 GPA.
