Sickening moment UFC legend Michael Bisping takes fake EYE out of socket to leave Jim White and Simon Jordan shocked
UFC legend Michael Bisping shocked talkSPORT’s Jim White and Simon Jordan when he popped out his prosthetic eye live on radio.
Bisping suffered a detached retina in his right eye during a fight with Vitor Belfort back in 2013 and was forced to completely remove his eyeball after undergoing several extensive and painful surgeries.
White addressed that incident and that is when the Count demonstrated the full extent of his injury by removing his fake eye from its socket, thinking that no one could see as they were on radio.
Bisping said on White and Jordan: “It’s radio so you can’t see, its PG.”
White, Jordan and guest Neil Warnock were left gobsmacked, while Bisping forgot the show was being streamed live on Facebook and YouTube.
The UFC Hall of Famer added that the MMA promotion’s president Dana White told him his career is over “many times” after he lost his eye.

But the British bruiser still went on to achieve legendary status inside the Octagon as he dethroned title holder Luke Rockhold at UFC 199 and also overcame Anderson Silva on home turf.
Bisping added: “Oh yeah, many times, many times. I still wanted to fight, well I still had to fight.
“At that point I hadn’t achieved what I wanted to achieve through my fight career which was financial stability for my family.
“And I hadn’t opened any other doors.

“I guess in hindsight it was a blessing in disguise because my fight career was going to be over at any moment, so I started doing whatever I could to open other doors, doing other things outside of fighting.
“But I managed to continue for about five or six years like this.”
