Claude Giroux agrees to 3-year deal with Senators

Forward Claude Giroux agreed to a three-year, $19.5 million contract with the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday.

Per the Senators, Giroux will receive $7 million in each of his first two seasons and $5.5 million in 2024-25.

"We're thrilled to add a player of Claude's caliber to our lineup," Senators general manager Pierre Dorion said. "He's an elite offensive talent with exceptional faceoff prowess and a player who maintains
