Deceased Fremont man named in alleged $6M fraud scheme, acting U.S. attorney says

Darland Properties' Brett Cook allegedly billed clients for work that was not performed, overbilled clients for work that was performed, and submitted inflated invoices to insurance companies to obtain insurance proceeds.
