Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik will lay foundation stone of Bhubaneswar Metro project on January 1, the government said on Saturday. The government has set four years deadline to complete the first phase of 26-km connecting Biju Patnaik International Airport with Trisulia Square, making a major promise ahead of the simultaneous Lok Sabha and state assembly elections next year.
