I’m A Celeb in HUGE shake-up as fans spot format change minutes into the show

I’M A Celeb returned tonight with fans spotting a change to its usual format minutes into the first episode.

As well as being treated to an extra-long opener for the arrival of the the 2023 line-up Ant and Dec introduced a new terrifying location to viewers.

Three stars were dropped into the Australian outback for the first time ever.

Ant told viewers: “In case you’re not familiar it’s a barren, deeply hostile, environment that’s barely fit for humans.”

Dec added: “Imagine Sunderland, but hotter.”

The trio on screen were former politician Nigel Farage and This Morning host Josie Gibson who were seen wondering in the middle of nowhere.

Josie finally crossed paths with Nigel, and said: “I’ve never been so terrified.”

They soon bumped into social media star Nella Rose at an abandoned camper van.

The celebs then received a phone call from Ant and Dec who introduced them to their first challenge.
