A PRINGLES revelation has hit TikTok with one man revealing that we have all been eating the crisps in the wrong way.
Pringles are one of the nation’s favourite crisps, but a TikTok chef has shown why we are not all getting the most flavour out of each crunch.
“Did you know there’s a correct way to eat Pringles,” A-A-Ron starts his video by asking the audience.
A-A-Ron states that when most people eat Pringles they place the crisp’s saddle shape comfortably sitting lengthways along the tongue with the edges facing down.
But he says most of the flavouring is actually on the ‘top’ of the crisp or on the other side which most people have facing up towards the top of the mouth.
Instead, A-A-Ron says people should eat Pringles with the crisp sitting across their tongue with the edges facing upwards.
He then rubs a Pringle and says you can feel the flavouring more on one with his fingers than the other.
“Did you know that, or are you today’s years old,” he then wryly asks viewers.
Pringles are actually only flavoured on one side of the crisp, but the flavouring rubs off on the crisp above giving the impression that each crisp is flavoured on the underside too.
At the time of writing the video had been watched 1500 times.
Commenters were surprised at A-A-Ron’s revelation.
“Lol if that how we are supposed to eat them that’s how they should have put them in the containers,” said one.
“I lick the top and eat the bottom so bs,” said another.
A Pringle’s shape is technically a hyperbolic paraboloid, meaning it is a doubly-curved surface that has a convex form along one axis and a concave form on along the other.
But, there are no rules when it comes to how to eat a Pringle. You may even follow the duck-lip method.
