NYCFC sign 18-year-old Serbian F Jovan Mijatovic

New York City FC announced the signing of 18-year-old Serbian forward Jovan Mijatovic on Monday.

He arrives from Red Star Belgrade and is under contract through 2028 with an option for 2029. Multiple reports put the value of his transfer fee at $8.6 million.

Mijatovic joins NYCFC under the league's U-22 initiative, pending receipt of his international paperwork.
