Vehicle damaged in Tuesday morning fire in Hampstead

An early morning vehicle fire in Hampstead caused $24,000 in damage, according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal.

The vehicle fire, located in the 2900 block of Hoffman Mill, was discovered by the owner of the 2021 Toyota Prius Prime at 3:11 a.m. on Tuesday, according to a news release.

Fifteen firefighters from the Reese Volunteer Fire Department in Westminster responded, controlling the fire in an hour, according to the release. No one was injured.
