Rays acquire LHP Richard Lovelady from Cubs

The Tampa Bay Rays acquired Richard Lovelady from the Chicago Cubs on Saturday in exchange for fellow left-handed pitcher Jeff Belge.

The Rays transferred right-hander Jacob Waguespack to the 60-day injured list in order to include Lovelady on their 40-man roster.

Lovelady, 28, is 0-1 with a 7.94 ERA in seven relief appearances this season with Chicago. He is 2-7 with a 5.48 E
