Louisiana man charged with over 1,000 counts of sexual abuse, molestation, child pornography
PINEVILLE, La. (WNTZ) — The Pineville Police Department is investigating a significant child sexual abuse case following the arrest of Wayne S. “Butch” Worden. On May 15, 2024, the department received a report of possible child sexual abuse. After a thorough investigation, detectives established sufficient probable cause to obtain a warrant for Worden’s arrest on charges of sexual battery, molestation of a juvenile, and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
On May 30, 2024, Pineville Police detectives apprehended Worden at his residence on Military Highway. Subsequent investigation and execution of search warrants uncovered additional evidence, leading to further charges, including 1,087 counts of sexual abuse of an animal, 109 counts of pornography involving juveniles, and 43 additional counts of molestation of a juvenile.
