Wall Street drifts ahead of jobs data, while oil prices keep climbing

U.S. stocks are drifting Tuesday ahead of a report that may show whether the job market is cooling as much as Wall Street hopes it does. Crude oil prices, meanwhile, keep climbing and are near their highest levels since April.
