Majority Leader in Parliament Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin has defended the Chief Justice 39;s request to appoint five additional judges to the Supreme Court. In a press conference on Monday, July 8, he strongly rejected arguments comparing Ghana 39;s highest court to the US Supreme Court to dispute the proposal.
