Man fatally shot in West Ridge
A man was shot to death Thursday afternoon in West Ridge on the North Side.
The man, 31, was in an alley in the 2000 block of West Howard Street when someone opened fire around 5:45 p.m., Chicago police said.
He was struck in the head and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he died, police said. His name hasn't been released.
No arrests were made.
