Coimbatore rural police and Kerala Excise department conducted a joint raid at Semmanapathy village on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border, seizing 150 cans of rectified spirit buried in a mango grove. The man responsible ingested pesticide and died. Investigations are ongoing.
