PHOENIX (KSNT) - K-State football will look to rebound from a 1-3 ending to the regular season with a trip to Arizona.
The Wildcats (8-4) will play in the Rate Bowl (recently rebranded from the "Guaranteed Rate Bowl") against Rutgers in Phoenix. That game will kickoff at 4:30 p.m. CT on Thursday, December 26, airing on ESPN.
Last season, KU took down UNLV in the same game 49-36, with Jayhawk quarterback Jason Bean being named the Player of the Game.
K-State got out to a hot 7-1 start in 2024 before ending the season with an 8-4 (5-4) record. Rutgers finished the year with a 7-5 record, 4-5 in Big 10 play.
