Shoppers rush to buy air fryer for £5 instead of £20 at major supermarket
KITCHEN gadget lovers are running to a huge supermarket to get their hands on a £5 air fryer.
The 3.2L manual piece was originally £20 – which is already a bargain as far as the handy piece of cooking kit is concerned.
Made by George Home, the fryer has a 2-year warranty and the basket is dishwasher safe.
Sharing a photo on Bargain Lovers Facebook page, one savvy shopper wrote: “Bargain of the day”.
“I’ve already got one of these and it’s great for cooking a meal for one. Fishcake and chips or sausage and chips in a hurry,” a second agreed.
“Right place right time to get a bargain like that,” chimed a second.
“Wow I paid 25 for mine, great bargain” said a third.
“This is a great air fryer,” wrote another.
“That’s bargain of the year,” beamed another shopper.
Air fryers have certainly taken households by storm over the past few years, seeing a huge spike in sales.
Aldi is also selling an enormous air fryer that can hold 9 litres – and it’s a fraction cheaper than one of the leading brands.
Ninja air fryers can cost you up to £270 but Aldi has just released a dupe that is already cooking up excitement.
The Aldi Dual Zone Air Fryer is being sold for £64.99 and can hold nearly as much as a Ninja model.
On Aldi’s website the listing states: “Take your convienient cooking to the next level with this multifunctional and easy-to-use Air Fryer.”
It boasts two independent drawers, an LED touchscreen panel with 10 programs, nonslip feet and a detachable non-stick frying rack.
But if you like your labels and named-goods, it’s worth checking Ninja Kitchen UK’s website as they currently have a huge sale on.
A 3.8 Litre Ninja air fryer is now £79.99 with free delivery, £20 less than its usual price of £99.99.
