Aktau Airport temporarily suspends arrivals and departures

Tengrinews.kz - Aktau Airport has temporarily suspended flight arrivals and departures.
According to the airport's press service, the decision was made due to a combination of adverse weather conditions and scheduled maintenance. The runway will be closed from 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. local time.

"Dear passengers! Due to unfavorable weather conditions and maintenance work, the runway at Aktau Airport will be temporarily closed from 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. local time on February 27, 2025," the statement reads.

At present, four out of 11 scheduled flights have been delayed. However, the situation may change, and passengers are strongly advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport.

"We kindly ask for your understanding and recommend staying updated on any changes. Further information will be provided as updates become available," the airport administration stated.
