The West Bengal government is set to invest over Rs 2,500 crore in tourism infrastructure. Tourism Minister Shankar Ghosh highlighted this investment during the ICC Hospitality and Tourism Summit. The initiative aims to make various destinations across Bengal accessible to international tourists. Additionally, the government plans to establish a hospitality institute to develop local manpower for the sector.
