Amrinder Singh Raja Warring has resigned from his position as Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president after high command pressure. His resignation followed demands from several state Congress leaders, including former chief minister CS Channi. Warring's exit reflects the central leadership's attempts to appease dissenting party factions.
