Ryan Cabrera Reacts to Ex-Girlfriend Ashlee Simpson's Return to Music & Las Vegas Residency

Ryan Cabrera is singing his praises for ex-girlfriend Ashlee Simpson!

If you forgot, Ryan, 43, and Ashlee, 41, dated back in 2004 and their romance was documented in MTV’s The Ashlee Simpson Show.

In a new interview, Ryan reacted to Ashlee‘s new music chapter and her Las Vegas residency.

Keep reading to find out more…“Everybody’s excited for that. I mean, all of my friends are hitting me up going, ‘Hey, I was gonna go to Vegas. Do you think we can go see Ashlee?’ I’m like, ‘Dude, I would love to see that show.’ Even my wife,” Ryan told Us Weekly. “I messaged [her mom] Tina when I saw that was going on, and it made me say, ‘Oh my God, I want to revisit those albums.’”

Now over two decades after their romance, Ryan still has a lot of respect and admiration for Ashlee.

“Ashlee was always an incredible performer, and I think she took a break just to be a mother and be a wife, and now she’s got the bug and realized it’s time to get on stage again and release those creative juices. She’s crushing it from what I’ve heard. I haven’t seen the show. I want to, but she’s gonna do more, which is great, and she should be on stage and needs to be on tour and should make new music.”

He continued, “I think she was an influence for a lot of female artists who are new today and looked up to her when they were younger. I bet she’ll do some collabs at some point in the new year. They’re going to be fire. I wish nothing but the best for everybody over there.”
