All the Sites I Shop for K-Beauty Are Having Major Deals
The big boy of sales is finally here: Black Friday. As a beauty girl, my mind doesn’t go to discounted homeware. Nay, my first instinct is to try to find the top makeup and skin-care deals out there. This year, I challenged myself to locate the best Black Friday K-beauty deals (up to 48 percent off!) that actually deserve not only my attention but my family’s, friends’, and yours. And don’t worry, folks. This isn’t just going to be a compilation of the stuff I found on Amazon, although the retail giant does have quite a few steals going for it. I also dug around and discovered steals on other retailers’ sites as well as a couple of DTC sites from two of my favorite Korean brands.
Here are the best Black Friday K-beauty sales from Ulta, Soko Glam, Sulwhasoo, and more. I also asked a few of my colleagues to share some of their favorite Korean beauty products and located the ones that were on sale, so trust that these picks aren’t just beloved by me.

Our Top Picks
Ma:nyo Pure Cleansing Oil Korean Facial Cleanser
This is the ideal non-stripping makeup remover, and I also use it as my only face wash a lot of the time because I’m lazy. If I’m motivated or feel like my skin is extra grimy, I’ll follow up with a water-based cleanser. But if I was only allowed to pick one cleanser to have an endless supply of, I’d choose this stuff. —Emily Gould, features writer
The Face Shop Milk & Jelly Double Foaming Cleanser
I’m with Emily — I love the Ma:nyo cleansing oil, and it’s the best thing I’ve ever found for getting blackheads out of my nose. But when I’m too tired to do multiple cleansing steps, this face wash is my go-to. It’s gentle yet gets all of my makeup off, and it’s basically both an oil cleanser and water-based cleanser in one. I keep it in my shower at all times since I’m more of a night-shower person. —Carol Lee, beauty writer
VT Cosmetics Cica Reedle Shot 100
It’s hard to isolate whether it’s why my skin looks great right now, because I’ve also been doing a full Medicube routine, but I don’t think it’s hurting! I feel glowier and smoother, and overall texture and brightness has improved. In general, moisturizer absorbs better and my makeup looks less patchy. —Amy Rose Spiegel, senior editor
I’m From Rice Toner
This toner applies so smoothly and gives my skin a nice, hydrated appearance. Plus, it helps keep any breakouts at bay and gives me an amazing, even texture. —Danya Issawi, fashion news writer
Aestura Atobarrier365 Cream
It’s the perfect night cream. It’s like the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5 but better. —Brooke LaMantia, editorial assistant
Of course, Amazon is one of the best sources for K-beauty sales on some fan favorites, like the cushion foundation from TirTir (which just announced BTS’s V as its ambassador), Medicube’s Booster Pro, and the classic Biodance mask, which our editor-in-chief Lindsay Peoples swears by. Others include an acne-safe moisturizer, a satisfying yet gentle peel, and a scalp treatment from Dr. Groot that doubles as a lightweight conditioner.
Ulta has leaned hard into K-beauty this year, and I’m happy to see how many more brands are available to us now (including my makeup fave Rom&nd) because of it. A few of my favorites below are 30 percent off, and rumor has it that it may rise up to a whopping 40 percent off for Cyber Monday.
Soko Glam was one of the first sites to make K-beauty accessible to those of us in the States. To this day, the platform carries a carefully vetted selection of tried-and-true products, including my favorite stick sunscreen, that best-selling snail serum, and a hyaluronic-acid serum our editorial assistant keeps raving about. Right now, you can get 25 percent off most of the things on the site.
Sulwhasoo was the luxe, beautifully formulated skin-care brand I watched both my mom and grandmother use from a young age. I was always so excited to grow up and use the formulas, too, and now I see why so many Korean women love them. All of the products I’ve tried are deeply hydrating and a pleasure to use, and my skin just drinks them up. I think they’d make great holiday gifts, and from now until December you can get 20 percent off everything on the site, including sets. And if you wait a little longer, you can get 25 percent off on December 1 and 2.
Everyone in my life knows that I can’t and won’t shut up about By Ava’s products — especially the ear-seed kit, which has truly changed my life. This one tool single-handedly reduces tension in my body, helps with shoulder and back pain, and snatches my jawline. I know that it sounds unbelievable, but you truly have to try it for yourself to understand. And this Black Friday sale is the very first time it’s on sale. While you’re on the site, it also wouldn’t hurt to check out the other tools like the new sculptor, which I use all over my body (including my scalp) to give myself a relaxing massage.
