Baby Sussex is the spitting image of his proud mum Meghan Markle as she unveils her gorgeous boy to the world
BABY boy Sussex has been introduced to the world – and he looks just like his mum.
The adorable newborn made his public debut at St George’s Hall in Windsor, where the couple had their wedding reception, at noon – and it seems like he already has mum Meghan’s distinctive snub nose.
The baby was wrapped up tight in a blanket and hat, so we couldn’t spot if he ginger hair but he had traces of his proud dad’s colouring.
The youngster weighed in below the UK national average at 7lb 3oz.
It wasn’t clear what colour eyes the youngster had, as he was fast asleep – oblivious to the attention, but his his scrunched up face bore a certain resemblance to that of his paternal grandfather Prince Charles’.
And dad Harry joked – like him – he already had facial hair!
He said: “He’s already got a bit of facial hair as well.”
It’s unsurprising the youngster is so cute as stylish grandmothers’ Doria Ragland and Princess Diana meant he was always going to be a looker.
But we can’t say if he’ll look like Meg for too long – because he’s rapidly changing like many newborns do.
Harry confirmed: “His looks are changing every day”.
Unfortunately, as he was wearing a hat, we couldn’t spot if he had ginger hair like his dad Prince Harry.
Meghan gave birth to him on Bank Holiday Monday at 5.26am.
While Meghan, 37, had hoped for a home birth but had to be dashed to the luxurious Portland Hospital in London late on Sunday evening, before giving birth to him just hours later.
While the new parents never revealed their birthing plan, it was widely speculated that if Meghan was to end up having a hospital birth, she would choose the NHS-run Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey.
However, it’s now been reported that Meghan opted for the luxurious £20k Portland Hospital – where pal Victoria Beckham gave birth.
Harry, 34, made an impromptu press conference on Monday, gushing over the “amazing” experience of being by his wife’s side
Since then Prince William and Kate Middleton have welcomed the couple to the “sleep deprivation society”
The Queen also exclaimed she had eight great-grandchildren as she was congratulated on the news.
