Inside London’s hotel to the stars including Beyonce and James Corden as cameras check in for new Channel 4 show

ONE of London’s most glamorous hotels, the Corinthia is checking in for a stay on Channel 4.

The broadcaster hopes Christmas At The Corinthia will repeat the success of ITV shows The Savoy and Inside The Ritz Hotel by capturing the build-up to the festive season at the plush A-listers’ haunt.

A TV insider said: “It’s a jaw-droppingly gorgeous hotel which is understandably a favourite with many celebrities like George Clooney, Beyoncé and Tom Cruise

“But like all five-star hotels it’s never short of behind-the-scenes drama and delights, and none more so than at Christmas.

“This show will go behind the scenes to show what daily life is like at the Corinthia where perfection is key.

“The hour-long show will be a one-off special, but if successful in the ratings, of course there’s no reason not to consider a full-on series.

ITV axes popular drama after fourth series saying show has 'run its course'

“Given the popularity of shows documenting rival hotels, there’s confidence it could become a fixture on the channel.”

Cameras will focus on the team tasked with making Christmas at the five-star central London venue as beautiful and unique as possible.

The setting will be transformed with decorations across its vast guest areas.

Michelin-starred chef TOM Kerridge will also be filmed pondering over his festive menu at his Bar & Grill restaurant inside the hotel.

Producers also hope to make stars out of the Corinthia’s workforce, who work around the clock to ensure their famous guests get all they need.

The documentary will air this Christmas.

If they need somebody to test out the beds and minibars in the meantime, they know where I am.

BETH SET FOR PET PROJECT

REAL-LIFE Dr Dolittle Beth Lee-Crowther has bagged her own show on Channel 5.

She’ll also help find lost pets.

A show insider said: “There’s hope this could become cult viewing.

“Beth is very eccentric and getting a platform such as this will see her profile rocket.”

Four hour-long episodes will air next year.

Beth, who hails from Worcestershire, says she has been able to communicate with animals since a child.

She has written several books on the topic and is a regular on This Morning.

Beth says: “I can’t wait to share my role as a pet psychic with Channel 5 viewers.”

My budgie is equally excited.

NARSTIE OR    NICE, OTI?

OTI MABUSE busts out some moves on The Big Narstie Show tonight, alongside fellow guests Ross Kemp, Keith Lemon And Bez – and she is asked some awkward questions by the Channel 4 chat show’s new addition, Auntie Bola.

The family matriarch asks Oti if any of her male dance partners on Strictly ever got, er, aroused during routines.

She responds: “No! I think it just looks like it, but whoever you’re dancing with, you’re just shouting at them.

“It’s not sexy. And if it does, I’m looking at the eyes, I’m not looking down there.”

That told her.
