Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry posts sweet tribute to ‘sister’ Marnie Simpson amid her fall out with Charlotte Crosby
GEORDIE Shore’s Chloe Ferry posted a sweet tribute to her “sister” Marnie Simpson amid her fall out with Charlotte Crosby.
Reality star Charlotte, 33, quit the MTV show “forever” following a huge row with Marnie, 32, during filming for the new series.
Chloe, 28, recently admitted she was thinking about confronting Charlotte about their ongoing feud – but was too “scared”.
She’s now cemented her alliance with Marnie, sharing a birthday tribute to her co-star yesterday.
Alongside some glam shots, the influencer wrote on Instagram, “Happy Birthday to my sister @marns I love you so much I’m so grateful to have met you and made the most amazing memories with you.
“You’re the most amazing mother and the most amazing wife and also the most amazing best friend have the best day love you.”
Charlotte quit Geordie Shore “forever” following a huge row during filming for the new series.
The star left Cyprus after just two days this summer, where she had brought along her boyfriend Jake Ankers and their daughter Alba.
Charlotte has since shared her thoughts about the dramatic incident.
The mum-of-one sobbed on her Always On podcast: “It just ended up going so terribly wrong. I don’t know why but the whole series, I later discovered, was a bit weird.
“I’m sad for loads of reasons. I’m sad that I took Alba and Jake, my family, into a show that I loved so much and it went so badly wrong.
“I feel like I could cry talking about it. I felt an immense amount of guilt for not knowing better. I just thought we were going to have such a good time.”
Marnie has since admitted that she would reconcile with Charlotte but insisted that she “won’t reach out to her first”.
She told The Sun: “I think it’s a shame because the memories what we got, it’s a shame that we’ve lost the friendship but it is what it is.
“It doesn’t get us down, I’m not losing any sleep over it.
“I’m just focusing on the positive this year, I don’t want to focus on any negatives.
“I want to surround myself with people who uplift me and make me feel good and who want the best for us.”
When asked if she’d ever reach out first to make amends, Marnie insisted: “No never.”
