She revealed the skincare products she used to achieve a healthy complexion and “more plumptious self.”
She shared her beauty advice in response to a post on Reddit’s Ask Ireland forum, which has over 47,000 members.

She revealed that she uses an affordable facial oil to massage her skin “assiduously” every night.
“There are so many oils out there nowadays,” she said, writing under the handle Subterraniate.
“It must be very confusing, but you can’t go wrong with Trilogy rosehip oil or one of the three classic Clarins oils.”
The Redditor said there’s no need to spend over $50 on face oils for an improved appearance.
She also suggested using a “high quality” cream made from natural ingredients.
“I’ve been using oils for about 30 years, and I have to say my skin shows that they really bloody work,” she said.
“I’m a great believer in a very gentle approach to skincare.
“No scrubs, astringent toners, acids (apart from hyaluronic, which isn’t acid as we know it), and definitely no retinol, though I know few would agree.
“I’m all about maximum moisture rather than trying to erase lines, because I reckon moisturizing and oils do the same job but from the inside out.”
She said a long-term commitment to skin care is necessary to have a glowing complexion and minimal wrinkles as you age.
“Although you’ll see plump and happy skin immediately, the real benefits accrue over time,” she said.
“As skin rebuilds itself and gradually presents a renewed, more plumptious self to the world.
“These effects are long-lasting, and permanent if you continue with this gentle care every day.”
