Watch Live-Action KPop Demon Hunters at the Mama Awards
Babymonster went up, up, up at the Mama Awards Friday night in Hong Kong. The group brought KPop Demon Hunters to life with their version of “We Go Up.” The singing voices of Huntr/X were across the globe, performing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. We still have to wait for the Saja Boys performance, which should take place on night 2 of the award show. Boynextdoor’s Leehan, Riize’s Wonbin, TWS’s Shinyu, and Zerobaseone’s Park Gun Wook and Han Yu Jin will be repping villainy.
Originally Korean music video channel Mnet’s answer to the VMAs, the Mama Awards have been closely associated with Kpop since the mid aughts. The televised award show is a big focal point of the film KPop Demon Hunters, so it makes sense the film is being featured heavily at this years awards. Both “Golden” and “Soda Pop” are nominated for Best OST and Song of the Year. Will good or evil win? We find out tomorrow night.
