Seth Meyers Brought Even More Family on his Thanksgiving Show
What could be more wholesome than the annual Late Night tradition of Seth Meyers bringing his family on the show? If he brought the dang kids, that’s what. Ashe, Adelaide, and Axel Meyers got some couch time with their dad on Thanksgiving. The kids had taken their annual Christmas photo earlier in the day, and Adelaide was pretty sure she was dressed like Elphaba for it. Or possibly Alphabet. She typecast her brothers, boy band style. Ashe is the “sweet” one and Axel is the “rough” one, just so you know. Adelaide also had some gripes about the city of New York that maybe Mamdani can get around to next year. “The subway smelled like diarrhea,” she said. Tell it like it is, girl!
The adults also got their turn, with Josh Meyers discussing his tremendous Gavin Newsom impression. The impression debuted on Late Night, but Jimmy Kimmel Live! has made the most use out of it, with Seth and Josh/Gavin appearing together at Kimmel’s latest Brooklyn shows. “You came out on a City Bike and rode around in a circle, and then jumped off — literally while it was moving — and walked out and delivered your first line,” Seth Meyers said. Then turning to his mom, he asked “Be honest: of your two boys, who would you have more confidence in riding a bike on stage?” Hilary Meyers didn’t even hesitate “Oh Seth,” she said. “You have no sense of balance.” Nice to see Adelaide has inherited her grandma’s brutal honesty.
