The Coalition is seeking to toughen laws to deport non-citizens who commit crimes in Australia when parliament resumes this year. Immigration Minister David Coleman has told reporters that proposed legislative changes would 'further strengthen' provisions under the Migration Act and allow decision-makers to take a stronger stance on offenders.
