Saw that yesterday. It's brilliant.
I'm no expert on FFP just that I hadn't heard the HS2 angle before. And as mentioned any deals would have to be scrutinized for fair market value. I just wondered because it's a government project, which they're desperate to get up and running, whether it was possible the football authorities would be persuaded to turn a blind eye with a bit of arm twisting from said government.
It just seems Villa haven't kicked up too much of a stink about the HS2 works, they're just simply co-operating and redesigning the training ground.
Then again I like a good conspiracy theory.
