Biking UK/Wales

Hey all, We are headed over to the Wales/South England area later this year, Sept/Oct for 10 days or so. Just wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction for a biking/mountain biking day trip or who I can contact to get specifics. Rentals? Trails? Etc.
