[Women's Basketball] No. 15 Bryan Stays Perfect in AAC with Triumph at Truett McConnell
CLEVELAND, Ga. – Deandra Luna (SO/Sparta, Tenn.) tallied a team-high 17 points, Tristan McClellan (JR/Byrdstown, Tenn.) followed closely behind with 12 points, and To'Nesha Allison (SR/Shelbyville, Tenn.) made an impact all around with a team-best 10 rebounds to go along with nine points, as the 15th-ranked Bryan College women's basketball team outlasted fellow Appalachian Athletic Conference host Truett McConnell University (Ga.) Thursday night, 71-56. Destiny Kassner (FR/Oak Ridge, Tenn.) continued to pitch in valuable minutes for the Lions, ending with nine points and three boards. Karli Combs (SO/Rutledge, Tenn.) trailed with eight points, Sarah Cain (SO/Jacksboro, Tenn.) notched five points, Shayla Ludy (SO/Ringgold, Ga.) chipped in four points, Amber Levi (SR/Dayton, Tenn.) posted three points, and the duo of Tesa Johnson (FR/Crossville, Tenn.) and Keneisha Love (JR/Pulaski, Tenn.) rounded out the scoring with two points apiece. Luna, McClellan, and Allison matched each other for the team-leading assists with three, respectively. Other significant efforts came from Luna with seven rebounds and Allison who had a game-high three steals and pair of blocks.
